Repair Freezer MIELE – Basel-Country

2. Diagnosis Our technician arrives equipped with Miele-specific diagnostic tools. We methodically inspect the most common failure points: the start relay on the compressor (a frequent culprit when the unit simply won't restart), the defrost heater and defrost timer (responsible for excessive ice build-up on the evaporator), and the temperature sensor, which — when faulty — causes erratic or incorrect temperature readings. We also test for R290 (propane) refrigerant leaks through pressure checks, as low refrigerant pressure is a silent but serious fault.

3. Repair Once the fault is confirmed, we present you with a transparent, written quote before any work begins. We use original Miele spare parts or certified-compatible equivalents to ensure full compatibility with your appliance's precision engineering. Whether it's replacing a blocked evaporator fan, a defective defrost heating element, or recharging the refrigerant circuit, every repair is carried out to Miele's own technical specifications.

4. Guarantee All repairs completed by Swiss Pro Service come with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. You receive documented proof of the work carried out — important for maintaining your appliance records in line with Swiss consumer norms.

At Swiss Pro Service, we believe a Miele freezer repaired correctly is a Miele freezer that will serve you reliably for years to come. Our commitment is not merely to fix the immediate fault, but to restore the full operational integrity that defines the Miele name — with the professionalism and precision that Swiss households expect.
