Repair Freezer LIEBHERR – Basel-Country

2. Diagnosis — Our technician arrives fully equipped to carry out a thorough on-site assessment. Liebherr freezers use environmentally responsible refrigerants such as R290 (propane) and R600a, and our engineers are trained to handle these gases safely and in compliance with Swiss regulations. Common faults we identify include a compressor that will not restart due to a faulty start relay, excessive ice build-up caused by a defective defrost heater or defrost timer, and erratic temperatures traced to a failed temperature sensor. Each fault is diagnosed accurately before any work begins.

3. Repair — Once the fault is confirmed, we provide a clear, itemised quote with no hidden charges. Work begins only with your approval. Whether the fix involves replacing a blocked evaporator fan, resolving low refrigerant pressure from a leak, or restoring the automatic defrost heating circuit, we use high-quality original or certified-compatible Liebherr parts. Founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr, the brand has built its reputation on precision engineering, and our repairs honour that standard.

4. Guarantee — Every repair carried out by Swiss Pro Service comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. You receive written confirmation of the work completed and the guarantee terms, giving you complete peace of mind.

Speed and reliability are at the heart of what we do. We know that a freezer running outside the -18°C to -24°C operating range can compromise food safety within hours, so we prioritise prompt response across all our service areas in Switzerland.

Swiss Pro Service's commitment to Liebherr owners goes beyond a simple fix. We treat each appliance with the respect that a premium German brand deserves, ensuring that your freezer returns to full manufacturer specification — quietly, efficiently, and reliably — so you can trust it for years to come.
