Repair Freezer FORS – Basel-Country

2. Diagnosis — Our specialist performs a thorough on-site assessment of your appliance. Fors freezers, distributed in Switzerland through the Electrolux Professional network, use components such as the compressor, evaporator, and automatic defrost heater, as well as eco-friendly refrigerant gases such as R600a or R290 (propane). We check the start relay on the compressor — a common culprit when the unit simply won't restart — as well as the defrost timer and temperature sensor, which can cause the freezer to hold incorrect temperatures between -18°C and -24°C. You receive a transparent, written quote before any repair work begins.

3. Repair — Once you approve the quote, our technician proceeds immediately using original or certified-compatible Fors parts sourced through the Electrolux supply chain. Whether the fault lies in a blocked evaporator fan, a refrigerant leak causing low pressure, or a defective defrost resistance, we apply the correct fix with the skill and precision the job demands. Most repairs are completed during the same visit.

4. Guarantee — Every repair carried out by Swiss Pro Service comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. This means that if an installed part fails within the warranty period, it is replaced at no cost to you; the call-out and labour for the new visit are charged.

Speed and reliability are at the heart of everything we do. We know that Swiss households depend on their Fors freezer day in and day out, and downtime is never acceptable. Our technicians are equipped with the most commonly needed spare parts and have direct access to the Electrolux Professional parts network, so delays are kept to an absolute minimum.

Swiss Pro Service's unique commitment for Fors appliances is simple: we combine the precision of factory-trained expertise with the responsiveness of a local Swiss service team — ensuring your freezer is back to peak performance as quickly as possible.
