Repair Freezer HOTPOINT ARISTON – Basel-Country

2. Diagnosis — A Swiss Pro Service technician visits your home at the agreed time and carries out a thorough technical inspection. We check the start relay on the compressor (a common failure point on Hotpoint Ariston models), test the automatic defrost heater and defrost timer, verify the temperature sensor's calibration, and measure refrigerant pressure to detect any R600a or R290 gas leak. You receive a clear, transparent quote before any repair work begins — no hidden costs, no surprises.

3. Repair — Once you approve the quote, our technician proceeds on the spot wherever possible, using original or certified-compatible parts sourced specifically for Hotpoint Ariston appliances. Whether the root cause is a blocked evaporator fan locked in ice, a defective defrost heater, or a compressor that refuses to restart, we have the tools and components to resolve it efficiently. Hotpoint Ariston is part of the Whirlpool group, which means spare-part availability across Switzerland is excellent and lead times are kept to a minimum.

4. Guarantee — Every repair carried out by Swiss Pro Service comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. If an installed part fails within the warranty period, it is replaced at no cost; the call-out and labour for the new visit are charged.

Speed and reliability sit at the heart of everything we do. Our technicians are distributed across all 26 Swiss cantons, which means short travel times and intervention within 48 hours, often the next day in the main cities. Hotpoint Ariston's strong market presence in Switzerland — particularly in French-speaking regions — means our teams have accumulated extensive hands-on experience with this brand's specific design choices and recurring fault patterns. When you choose Swiss Pro Service, you are choosing specialists who know your appliance inside out.
