Repair Freezer NEFF – Basel-City

2. Diagnosis — Our technician arrives equipped with professional diagnostic tools and a thorough knowledge of Neff freezer architecture. We systematically inspect the key components: the compressor and its start relay (a frequent culprit when the unit fails to restart), the automatic defrost heater and defrost timer, the evaporator fan responsible for circulating cold air in no-frost models, and the temperature sensor that governs the working range of -18 °C to -24 °C. If the system shows signs of low pressure, we also check for refrigerant leaks — a critical issue when the appliance uses R290 (propane) or R600a, both of which require certified handling under Swiss safety regulations.

3. Repair — Once the fault is identified, we present a clear, transparent quote before any work begins. We source original Neff spare parts or certified-compatible equivalents from BSH Group's supply chain, ensuring every component meets the exacting standards that Neff has upheld since its founding in Bretten in 1877. Whether the fix involves replacing a faulty start relay, renewing the defrost heating element, clearing a blocked evaporator fan, or recharging the refrigerant circuit, our technicians complete the work efficiently and cleanly.
