Repair Freezer GAGGENAU – Basel-City

2. Diagnosis Your assigned technician arrives equipped with brand-specific diagnostic tools and a thorough knowledge of Gaggenau's BSH-group engineering. They will methodically inspect the key components most often implicated in freezer faults: the start relay on the compressor (a frequent culprit when the unit refuses to restart), the automatic defrost heater and its associated timer (which, when faulty, cause excessive ice build-up around the evaporator), and the refrigerant circuit, which on modern Gaggenau models uses environmentally responsible R290 propane or R600a gas — both requiring certified handling. You receive a transparent, itemised quote before any repair work begins.

3. Repair Once you approve the quotation, our technician proceeds immediately where parts are available on the vehicle. Gaggenau's heritage of uncompromising design means components are precision-engineered; we source original or certified-compatible parts to preserve the appliance's performance and safety certifications. Whether the fault lies in a defective temperature sensor causing erratic thermostat readings, a blocked evaporator fan preventing correct air circulation, or a refrigerant leak resulting in dangerously low system pressure, the repair is carried out to manufacturer standards.

4. Guarantee Every Swiss Pro Service intervention on a Gaggenau freezer comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. This is our commitment to Swiss-quality service: we do not consider a job closed until your appliance is running at the correct temperature, quietly and reliably, just as it left the Black Forest factory.

With Swiss Pro Service, your Gaggenau is in the hands of specialists who respect its exceptional heritage — and yours.
