Name: Repair Washing Machine HOTPOINT ARISTON – Zurich
Brand: HOTPOINT ARISTON

Question 1

How much does it cost to repair a Hotpoint Ariston washing machine with Swiss Pro Service?

Accepted Answer

Swiss Pro Service charges a transparent diagnostic fee for the technician's visit, which covers a full assessment of your Hotpoint Ariston washing machine — including checks of the electronic control board, drain pump, and drum bearings. Once the fault is identified, you receive a detailed written quote before any repair work begins. There are no hidden costs: you only pay for the agreed repair, and the diagnostic fee is offset against the final invoice if you proceed.

Question 2

How quickly can a Swiss Pro Service technician arrive, and how do I book?

Accepted Answer

In most Swiss cantons, we can arrange an appointment within 48 hours for your Hotpoint Ariston washing machine, often the next day in the main cities. Booking is simple: call our customer service line or use the online form on our website, provide your appliance model and a brief description of the fault — for example, an error code such as E40 (door not closed) or an unusual noise during the spin cycle — and we will confirm the earliest available slot at your convenience.

Question 3

Does Swiss Pro Service use original Hotpoint Ariston spare parts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Wherever possible, Swiss Pro Service sources original manufacturer-approved spare parts for Hotpoint Ariston washing machines, including inlet solenoid valves, drain pumps, door seals, and drum bearings. For certain components, we also use certified-compatible parts that meet or exceed original specifications. Given Hotpoint Ariston's well-established presence across Europe and its integration within the Whirlpool group supply chain, parts availability for most models is excellent, ensuring minimal waiting time for your repair.

Question 4

What warranty does Swiss Pro Service provide on Hotpoint Ariston washing machine repairs?

Accepted Answer

Every Hotpoint Ariston washing machine repair completed by Swiss Pro Service comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. This warranty gives you the assurance that if an installed part fails within the 12-month guarantee period, it will be replaced at no cost; the call-out and labour for the new visit are charged. The precise warranty duration will be confirmed on your repair invoice, in line with Swiss consumer protection norms and Swiss Pro Service's quality commitment.

Question 5

What is one key maintenance tip to extend the life of my Hotpoint Ariston washing machine?

Accepted Answer

Once a month, run a hot maintenance cycle (60–90 °C) with a drum-cleaning tablet or a small measure of citric acid — this is especially important for Hotpoint Ariston models, as limescale and detergent residue can progressively damage the door seal and clog the drain pump filter, two of the most common causes of faults we see. Also remember to clean the drain pump filter every three months to prevent blockages from coins or lint that trigger the F11 pump fault code.
