Repair Washing Machine GENERAL ELECTRIC – Basel-Country

2. Diagnosis – A certified Swiss Pro Service technician visits your home at a time that suits you and performs a thorough, systematic diagnosis. We inspect all key components: the brushless inverter motor, drum bearings, door seal (guarnizione oblò), main electronic control board, and the inlet water solenoid valve. You receive a clear, written quote before any repair work begins — no hidden costs, no surprises.

3. Repair – Once you approve the quote, our technician proceeds immediately wherever possible. Common faults we resolve include metallic rumbling during the spin cycle caused by worn drum bearings, water leaks from a deteriorated door seal, drain pump blockages from lint or coins, and electronic control boards damaged by voltage fluctuations — a known vulnerability in GE appliances. We also address error codes such as E40 (door not properly closed) and E18/F08 (excess foam triggering a safety halt), diagnosing whether these stem from a sensor fault or a mechanical issue.

4. Guarantee – Every repair carried out by Swiss Pro Service comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. If an installed part fails within the warranty period, it is replaced at no cost; the call-out and labour for the new visit are charged. That is our commitment to you.
