Repair Hob IKEA – Appenzell Outer Rhodes

2. Diagnosis Our technician arrives equipped with the specific knowledge and diagnostic tools required for IKEA appliances, which were co-developed with Whirlpool. For induction models, we inspect the bobine induzione (induction coils) and temperature sensors to determine whether the fault lies with the coil itself or the control board — a common cause of the E3 error code, which signals a board failure. For gas hobs, we assess the termocoppia (thermocouple), elettrovalvola (gas solenoid valve), and burner nozzles for blockages or wear. You receive a clear, itemised quote before any repair work begins. No surprises.

3. Repair Once you approve the quote, our technician carries out the repair on-site wherever possible, using original or certified-compatible parts. IKEA guarantees spare part availability for 10 years from the date of manufacture, so sourcing the correct components is rarely an obstacle. Common interventions include replacing faulty induction coils, unblocking or replacing gas nozzles, and restoring the cooling fan on induction models — a noisy fan is often the first sign of thermal stress on the electronics.

4. Guarantee Every repair carried out by Swiss Pro Service comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. This means that if an installed part fails within the 12-month warranty period, it is replaced at no cost; the call-out and labour for the new visit are charged. It is our commitment to quality — and to the reliability you deserve from your IKEA kitchen.

Swiss Pro Service combines local presence across all Swiss cantons with the technical depth that IKEA hob repairs genuinely demand. When your kitchen needs us, we are ready.
