Repair Freezer IKEA – Ticino

2. Diagnosis Our technician arrives fully equipped to carry out a thorough, no-obligation diagnostic assessment. IKEA freezers — engineered in collaboration with Whirlpool and designed to integrate seamlessly into IKEA kitchen systems — feature specific components that require specialist knowledge. Common culprits we identify include a faulty start relay causing the compressor to fail, a defective defrost heater or defrost timer leading to excessive ice accumulation on the evaporator, a malfunctioning temperature sensor producing incorrect readings, or a refrigerant leak reducing system pressure in R290 or R600a circuits. You receive a clear, itemised quote before any work begins — no hidden charges.

3. Repair Once approved, our technician proceeds with the repair using original or certified-compatible spare parts sourced for your IKEA appliance. Thanks to IKEA's commitment to a 10-year spare parts availability, components for your integrated freezer are reliably obtainable. Whether we're replacing a blocked evaporator fan, recharging the refrigerant circuit, or fitting a new thermostat, every intervention follows Swiss quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
