Repair Freezer CANDY – Schwyz

2. Expert Diagnosis Your assigned technician arrives at your home and carries out a thorough assessment of your Candy freezer. Candy, founded in 1945 by the Fumagalli family in Monza and now part of the Haier group, manufactures freezers with specific components that require specialist knowledge. Our technicians check the start relay on the compressor — a frequent cause of a freezer that simply won't restart — and inspect the defrost heater and defrost timer, both common culprits behind excessive ice build-up in the evaporator chamber. They also test the temperature sensor, which, when faulty, can cause the unit to maintain an incorrect operating temperature, shifting it outside the standard -18°C to -24°C working range. You receive a transparent, itemised quote before any repair work begins — no hidden costs, no surprises.

3. Professional Repair Once you approve the quote, our technician carries out the repair on the spot wherever possible, using original or certified-compatible Candy spare parts. Whether the fault involves a blocked evaporator fan, a refrigerant leak causing low pressure in the R600a or R290 circuit, or a failed defrost heater, we have the parts and the expertise to fix it correctly. We work to Swiss standards of quality and safety throughout.

4. Repair Guarantee Every repair completed by Swiss Pro Service comes with a 12-month written warranty on the installed parts. You can return to normal life knowing your Candy freezer has been restored to manufacturer specification and that any recurrence of the same fault is covered.

At Swiss Pro Service, our commitment goes beyond a single fix. We believe that a quality Italian appliance from a brand with nearly 80 years of heritage deserves the very best care — and that's exactly what our technicians deliver, every time, across all 26 Swiss cantons.
